About the District

The Galveston County Consolidated Drainage District was formed as a result of an election on February 2, 2002 which combined Clear Creek Drainage District and Galveston County Drainage District No. 3. The District encompasses more than 20 square miles of northern Galveston County and provides maintenance for over 80 miles of creeks, ditches, and bayous. Galveston County Consolidated Drainage District has created this website to help facilitate the implementation of their stormwater management program (SWMP) in compliance with the TPDES General Permit No. TXR040000.
